Homes & Zones is a nonprofit organization that helps small businesses improve their online presence.
Many active businesses still do not have a website. That can make it harder for customers to find them, learn about their services, or contact them online.
To help address this, Homes & Zones provides simple, professional websites to selected small businesses at no required cost.
Why We Created This Program
The goal is simple: help more small businesses get online.
A website gives a business a place where customers can:

view hours or service areas,

and connect with the business directly.
For many small businesses, a basic website is an important first step toward being easier to find online.

How this Program Works
1. A Website Is Prepared for Your Business
If your business was selected, Homes & Zones may have already prepared a simple website concept for your company. You can review it using the link sent to you.
There is no obligation to use it.
2. You Review the Website
Look through the website and let us know if anything needs to be corrected or updated.
If your business name, services, phone number, address, hours, or other information needs to be changed, we can update it.
3. You Choose Whether to Use It
If you like the website and want to start using it, tell us and we can help you take the next step.
4. We Help You Choose a Domain Name
A domain name is the website address customers type into their browser, such as:

5. Your Website Can Go Live Online
Once the domain name is selected, your website can be connected so customers can begin finding your business online.
Is There a Cost?
There is no required fee for the website.
Homes & Zones provides the website as part of its nonprofit small business support initiative.
Businesses that wish to support the program may contribute whatever they wish, including zero.
Voluntary contributions help support the students involved and allow Homes & Zones to continue helping other small businesses get online.
What If I Need Changes?
If anything on the website is inaccurate or incomplete, simply let us know. We can make reasonable updates so the website better reflects your business.
What If I Already Have a Website?
This program is mainly intended for businesses that do not currently have a website.
If you already have one, your business was probably contacted in error.
Can Homes & Zones Update or Redesign My Existing Website?
Yes. In some cases, Homes & Zones may be able to assist businesses that already have an existing website but would like an updated or modernized version.
